Yuon Viet Cong in creased their activities in Kampong Popil region such as to send troops from Svay Pol and other places towards Kampong Popil, then the troops deployed on the both sides of Tonle Tauch from Damrei village at WT 125-867 to Tral village at WT 156-931. The total number of troop was 600.
ពួកយួនយៀកកុងបានបង្កើតសកម្មភាពខ្លាំង នៅតំបន់កំពង់ពពិល ដូចជាពួកវាបានបញ្ជូនទ័ពពីស្វាយពល និងពីកន្លែងផេ្សងទៀតសំដៅមក កំពង់ពពិល រួចរាយគ្នានៅសងខាងទនេ្លតូច ចាប់ពីភូមិដំរី ត្រង់ចំនុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១២៥-៨៦៧ រហូតដល់ភូមិត្រាលឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៥៦-៩៣១ ដោយមានទាហានសរុបទាំងអស់ ៦០០នាក់។
