A source showed that on April 29, 1971, about 600 North Viet Cong troops equipped with guns, moved down from Kampong Cham and came to set up shelters in Andaung village at WT 172-936, Mesor Preh Chan sub-district, Pearaing district, Prey Veng province. These enemies attempted to smash National Armed Forces at Kampong Chamlang.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ មេសា ១៩៧១ យៀកកុងយួន ខាងជើងប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃចុះមក ពីខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម ហើយមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិអណ្ដូង ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៧២-៩៣៦ ក្នុងឃុំមេសរប្រចាន់ ស្រុកពារាំង ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង។ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះមានបំណងមកវាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិ នៅកំពង់ចម្លង។
