On May 25, 1971, some 300 Viet Cong armed forces moved from Prey Lvea region at VT 960-335, in Prey Lvea sub-district, Prey Kabass district of Takeo province, to Tuol La Lak village at VT 840-348, Tang Yap sub-district. The enemies aimed to help their forces in Sla Kou small river at VT 660-257, Boeung Tranh sub-district, Samrong Tong district of Takeo province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៥ ឧសភា ១៩៧១ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ បានចេញពីតំបន់ព្រៃល្វា ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៩៦០-៣៣៥ ឃុំព្រៃល្វា ស្រុកព្រៃកប្បាស ខេត្ដតាកែវ។ ឆ្ពោះមកស្នាក់ នៅភូមិទួលលលក ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៤០-៣៤៨ ឃុំតាំងយ៉ាប ស្រុក និងខេត្ដដូចខាងលើ។ ប្រភពបានបន្ដទៀតថា ពួកខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះ មានបំណងនៅជួយគ្នាវានៅតំបន់ស្ទឹងស្លាគូ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៦៦០-២៥៧ ក្នុងបឹងត្រាញ់ ស្រុកសំរោង ខេត្ដតាកែវ។
