On May 28, 1971, about 500 Khmer Viet Cong troops came to set up shelters in Cham Naom village at VT 064-285, Kam Peng village at VT 878-264 in Kampeng sub-district, Pun Ley village at VT 875-242 in Pun Ley sub-district, Samrong village at VT 886-241 in Pun Ley sub-district, Prey Kabass district of Takeo.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៨ ឧសភា ១៩៧១ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ បានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិចំណោម ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៦៤-២៨៥ ភូមិកំពែង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៧៨-២៦៤ ឃុំកំពែង ភូមិពន្លៃ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៧៥-២៤២ ឃុំពន្លៃ, ភូមិសំរោង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៨៦-២៤១ ឃុំពន្លៃ ស្រុកព្រៃកប្បាស ខេត្ដតាកែវ។
