On February 9, 1971, North Yuon Viet Cong sent many military forces from Chamka Leu region and Kampong Thma region, crossing Mekong river from Stung Trang to rubber plantation (Ta Pao).
ចាប់តាំងពីថ្ងៃ៩-កុម្ភះ-១៩៧១ មកពួកយៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងបាន បញ្ជូនទ័ពយ៉ាងច្រើនចេញពីតំបន់ចំការលើ តំបន់កំពង់ថ្ម ឆ្លងកាត់តាម ទនេ្លមេគង្គពីស្ទឹងត្រង់ ឆ្ពោះមកព្រៃចម្ការកៅស៊ូតាប៉ាវ។ ការបញ្ជូនទ័ព នេះពួកខ្មាំងបានប្រព្រឹត្ដទៅរៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ ហើយពួកទ័ពនេះសុទ្ធតែជា យួនទាំងអស់។
