On June 15, 1971, about 600 Viet Cong Khmer armed forces, under the command of Kroem Van, district governor, came to set shelters in Trapeang Tea village at VT 850-388 and Ang village at VT 869-382. They had an underground headquarter located in Tayab sub-district, Prey Kabass district of Kandal province at VT 842-385.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៥ មិថុនា ១៩៧១ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ ស្ថិតក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ក្រឹម វ៉ាន ជាអភិបាលស្រុក បានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិត្រពាំងទា ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៥០-៣៨៨ និងភូមិអង្គ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៦៩-៣៨២ ដោយមានទី បញ្ជាការនៅក្រោមដីត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨៤២-៣៨៥។ ឃុំតាំងយ៉ាម ស្រុកព្រៃកប្បាស ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
