Leang Heng, alive (Biography owner), male, 51, none of biography. He lives in Rormeas village, Ampil commune, kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province. Heng is village chief.
Heng joined the revolution in 1963 with Mann, Eng, Koeun, Mean, Chhin, Srun, Khun. In 1970, there was a Lon Nol manifestation to drop King Norodom Sihanouk. KR persuaded the parents first and others next. In 1973, Heng fled to Tuol Sre because of Lon Nol bombardment. When there was second explosion, all people started to flee. Some people ran Prey Chor, Bos Khno, O-Ravan, and the other, Kampong Thom. The early Phnom Penh liberated, Heng life faced to difficult situation with having a lot of bombs around the military camp. In 1975-76, his life became seriously. It started to have a communal food, and regularly working hours was assigned. The elders who was over 50, was required to serve as manual work such as plowing and harrowing. For the people just gave birth had to carry fertilizer. The children were around 5, was assigned to melt animal excrement. Da, Dek, Huon, Sim, and Kralab used to be village chief. Seam was commune chief. Yut who came from south-west was district chief. Yem, Yean, Sean, Seap, Srun who were the people worked in agriculture Unit with Heng. Heng heard that, many people were killed by KR at Phnom Bros Phnom Srey(Man and Women mountain). Most of people who was died, they used to work in higher rank, or soldiers. Heng himself, used to be a prisoner at Krala.
