A source reported that because Viet Cong Khmer armed forces, under the command of Nat, could not curb the National Army's operation for paying the National Road 3, they asked for reinforcements from Viet Congs to join forces in order to ban the National Army from moving forwards.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា មានកងទ័ពខ្មែរយៀកកុងមួយចំនួនក្រោមបញ្ជា ការឈ្មោះ ណាត ដែលមាននាទីការពារទប់ទល់ និងដំណើរប្រតិបត្ដិការ បើកផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៣ នៃកងទ័ពជាតិ។ ដោយមិនអាចទប់ទល់ និង កងការពារជាតិឈ្មោះ ណាត ក៏បានសុំជំនួយពីពួកយួនយៀកកុងឱ្យ រួមកម្លាំង និងកងទ័ពរបស់ខ្លួនដើម្បីប្រយុទ្ធទប់ទល់មិនឱ្យកងទ័ពជាតិ យើងធ្វើដំណើរទៅមុខបាន។
