On April 29-30, 1971, a large number of Khmer Viet Cong soldiers moved from Kor Krous and Boeng Chram sub-district toward Tro Nom Chroeung village and Tok Ke forest in Ang Snuol district. These Khmer Viet Cong attempted to occupy Sre village in Kan Tork sub-district, Ang Snuol district and Pleung Chhes Rotes sub-district in Dorng Kor district, because they wanted to destroy Pochentong airport in the future. On the other hand, they attempted to violently infiltrate into Phnom Penh, by passing Dangkao district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ដល់៣០ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ មានខ្មែរវៀតកុងជា ច្រើនបានចេញចូលតាមសង្កាត់គគ្រួស និងបឹងច្រាម ហើយចូលតាមភូមិ ទ្រនំជ្រឹង និងព្រៃតុកកែ ក្នុងស្រុកអង្គស្នួល។ ពួកវាចង់យកភូមិស្រែ ក្នុងសង្កាត់កន្ទោក ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល និងសង្កាត់ភ្លើងឆេះរទេះក្នុង ស្រុកដង្កោរ ដើម្បីវាយចេញចូលបញ្ជូនសារ និងចាប់វាយពោធិ៍ចិនតុង ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀតវាចូលតាមស្រុកដង្កោ ដើម្បីវាយ ចូលភ្នំពេញតែម្ដង។
