On October 21-22, 1972, approximately 500 Khmer Viet Cong armed forces came to evacuate people around Siem Reap market, and burned down people's house. Three days later on (October 25, 1972), the enemies withdrew from the market and mobilized in Chinese graveyard located behide Sla village at VT 828-595, Kok Trap sub district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal Province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២១-២២ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់ អាវុធប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ បានចូលមកកៀរប្រជាជននៅម្ដុំផ្សារ សៀមរាប ព្រមទាំងបានដុតបំផ្លាញផ្ទះសម្បែងប្រជាជនទាំងនោះផង។ លុះរំលងបាន៣ថ្ងៃក្រោយមក (២៥-តុលា-១៩៧២) ពួកខ្មាំង ខាងលើនេះបានដកថយពីតំបន់ផ្សារសៀមរាប មកផ្ដុំគ្នានៅកន្លែងកប់ ខ្មោចចិន ស្ថិតនៅខាងក្រោយភូមិស្លា ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨២៨-៥៩៥ សង្កាត់គោកត្រប់ ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
