On Octopber 2, 1973, at 4 O'lock in the military position of Battalion 55 at UU 661-653, there was a defector named Im Thoeun, 19 years old Khmer living in Bakan district of Pursat province. Half a month after that his 500 armed forces under the command of Sem returned back from Kampong Speu province. At that time commander Sem and his troops attacked military position in Mong Russei of Battambang province for two times.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ម៉េាង១៦ៈ០០ នៅទីតាំងកង វរៈសេនាតូច៥៥ នៅចំណុចអ៊ុយអ៊ុយ ៦៦១-៦៥៣ មានជនភ្ញាក់ រំឮក អ៊ឹម ធឿន អាយុ១៩ឆ្នាំ ជាតិខ្មែរ ក្នុងស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់ បានរួបរួមកន្លះខែក្រោយមក ក្រុមរបស់ខ្លួនត្រឡប់ មកពីកំពង់ស្ពឺ វិញប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃដឹកនាំដោយឈ្មោះ សែម មានជាង៥០០នាក់ ពេលនោះមេបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សែម បានរួមវាយ ប្រហារប៉ុស្ដិ៍នៅស្រុកមោងឬស្សី ក្នុងខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង បានពីរដង។
