About 1,000 Khmer Communist soldiers had attacked National Army base in Sasa Sdam and Prey Chrouk. During the attack, they mobilized a lot of Battalions from place as the following: Battalion 201 under the command of Theap sheltered at UV 530-880 and UV 543-903. Battalion 707 under the command of Phean sheltered at UV 540-915 and 533-905. Battalion 421 under the command of Roem sheltered at UV 546-913 and UV 559-913. In the attack, 60mm and 81mm heavy artilleries and B40 guns were used by enemies.
មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដជាច្រើនពាន់អ្នកបានចូលទៅវាយប្រហារទីតាំង កងទ័ពជាតិនៅសរស្ដំ និងព្រៃជ្រូក។ ក្នុងការវាយប្រហារនោះខ្មាំងបាន ប្រមូលទ័ពជាច្រើនកន្លែងមកពីកងអនុសេនាធំ នៃកងវរៈសេនាតូច ២០១ មានឈ្មោះ ធាប ជាមេបញ្ជាការមានទីតាំងនៅត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៥៣០-៨៨០, ៥៤៣-៩០៣។ កងវរៈសេនាតូច៧០៧ មេបញ្ជា ការឈ្មោះ ភាន នៅត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ៥៤០-៩១៥, ៥៣៣-៩៦៥។ កងវរៈសេនាតូច៤២១ មេបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ រឹម មានទីតាំង ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ៥៤៦-៩១៣, ៥៥៩-៩១៣។ ពួកខ្មាំងខាងលើបាន ប្រើអាវុធ៦០មម, ៨១មម និងបេ៤០ ក្នុងការវាយប្រយុទ្ធនេះ។
