The enemies forcibly gathered and drafted people to join the army to get enough amount of thier soldier in Kampong Cham province. They wanted to create 40 battalions, 8 battalions of North Viet Congs, 12 battalions of terrorist and 10 battalions of Khmer Rotanakiri, Mondal Kiri and Cham people. In an attempt to destroy National Armyin Kampong Cham provincial town.
នៅខេត្ដកំពង់ចាមមានខ្មាំងមួយចំនួនបានដើរប្រមូល និងកេណ្ឌប្រជាជនឱ្យចូលធ្វើជាកងទ័ពសម្រាប់បង្គ្រប់ទ័ពរបស់ពួកវាដែលមានកំណត់ ត្រឹម៤០កងវរៈសេនាតូច, យួនយៀកកុង៨កងវរៈសេនាតូច, ពួកភេរវកម្ម១២កងវរៈសេនាតូច, ពួកខ្មែររតនគិរី, មណ្ឌលគិរី និងចាមចំនួន១០កងវរៈសេនាតូចទៀត ដើម្បីត្រៀមវាយប្រហារ ជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិនៅទីក្រុងកំពង់ចាម។
