On March 31, 1971, approximately 1,700 North Viet Congs and Khmer Viet Cong forces, in which 1,000 were equipped with sophisticated weapons, came to set shelters in villages at VT:678-417, 694-489, 716-430 and 709-401 in Bati district of Takeo province. Some enemies were command to transport immunitions
hidden before in order to attack our military forces in Tram Khna shortly. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣១ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង និងខ្មែរ យៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល១,៧០០នាក់ ក្នុងចំណោមនោះមាន ១,០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធទំនើបៗគ្រប់ដៃបានតាំងជម្រកតាម ភូមិនានាត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៦៧៨-៤១៧, ៦៩៤-៤៨៩, ៧១៦-៤៣០ និង ៧០៩-៤០១ ក្នុងស្រុកបាទី ខេត្ដតាកែវ។ ពួកខ្មាំង ខាងលើបានចាត់អោយគ្នាវាទៅដឹកជញ្ជូនគ្រាប់ដែលវាបានលាក់ទុក ពីមុនដើម្បីយកមកវាយប្រហារ លើកងទ័ពយើងនៅត្រាំខ្នារ ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខនេះ។
