A source reported that on August 5, 1974 approximately 2,000 Khmer Communist troops equipped with sophisticated weapons including AK47, CKC, B41 and 60mm mortars, under the command of Yut, and other 300 Khmer Communist, under the command of Vong, equipped with 2 75mm non-rejected cannons with 200 shells, moved from Siem Reap Angkor Wat to Tuol kok Khpuos at UV 190-790, 180-795, 170-795, 150-796 located east of Kien Sbov village at UV 125-798, and Kampong Krasang village at UV 121-872.
ប្រភពព័ត៌មានបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ៥-១០ ខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល២,០០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ យុទ្ធ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធទំនើបៗ និងគាំភ្លើងអាកា៤៧, សេកាសេ, បេការ៉ង់អង និងកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ទំហំ៦០មម។ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ទៀត ក្រោមបញ្ជកាឈ្មោះ វង់ ប្រដាប់ដោយ កាំភ្លើងទំហំ៧៥មម ២ដើម និងគ្រាប់ចំនួន២០០គ្រាប់ បានធ្វើ ចលនាចេញពីសៀមរាបអង្គរ ចូលមកស្នាក់នៅទួលគោកខ្ពស់ អ៊ុយវេ ៧៩០-១៨០, ៧៩៥-១៧០, ៧៩៥-១៥០, ១៥០-៧៩៦ ស្ថិតនៅខាងកើតភូមិគៀនស្បូវ ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ១២៥-៧៩៨ និងនៅភូមិកំពង់ក្រសាំង ត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ១២១-៨២៧។
