On March 22, 1972, around 100 North Yuon Viet Cong soldiers in black and Khaki uniforms moved from Ko Ov Leuk village at VT 861-669 in Spean Thmor sub-district to gather together with 50 others at VT 878-647 in Sa Ang sub-district, Sa Ang district, Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២២ មីនា ១៩៧២ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ចំនួនប្រហែល១០០នាក់ ស្លៀកពាក់ចម្រុះខ្លះខ្មៅ ខ្លះពណ៌ត្រីអ៊ី បាន ចេញពីភូមិគោឱឡឹក ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨៦១-៦៦៩ ក្នុងឃុំស្ពានថ្ម មកជួបពួកវាចំនួន៣៥០នាក់ទៀត នៅត្រង់ចំណុច ៨៧៨-៦៤៧ នៅក្នុងឃុំស្អាងភ្នំ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
