A source reported that on March 24, 1972, the National Agents saw approximately 300 North Yuon Viet Cong soldiers deployed at VU 970-023 in low thick forest which was 1Km to the northwest of Prek Anh Chanh village in Prey Dambang sub-district, Muk Kampoul district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានពីល្ងាចថ្ងៃទី២៥ មីនា ១៩៧២ មកថាៈ កាលពីរសៀលថ្ងៃទី២៤ មីនា ១៩៧២ គេប្រទះឃើញយៀកកុងយួន ខាងជើងប្រដាប់អាវុធចំនួនប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ បានចូលមករាយគ្នា លាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងព្រៃរនាម ប៉ែកខាងជើងឈៀងខាងកើតបឹង។ បឹងនេះស្ថិត នៅចម្ងាយជាងមួយគីឡូម៉ែត្រប៉ែកខាងលិចឈៀងខាងជើង ភូមិព្រែកអញ្ចាញ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩៧០-០២៣ ក្នុងឃុំព្រៃដំបង ស្រុកមុខកំពូល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
