On March 24, 1972, around 12 North Yuon-Khmer Viet Congs soldiers deployed heavy artilleries in a forest at VT 995-816 Svay Chrum sub-district and at VT 978-843 in a forest, Prek Luong sub-district, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province. They attempted to fire shells at National Navy Base in Chrou Chang Va.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ មីនា ១៩៧២ យួនយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុង ប្រដាប់អាវុធចំនួប្រហែល១២នាក់ ព្រមទាំងមានកាំភ្លើងបាញ់ផ្លោងបាន មកតាំងកាំភ្លើងបាញ់ផ្លោងនៅក្នុងព្រៃត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៩៩៥-៨១៦ ក្នុងឃុំស្វាយជ្រុំ និងក្នុងព្រៃត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៩៧៨-៨៤៣ ក្នុងឃុំព្រៃហ្លួង ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះ មានបំណងបាញ់ផ្លោងមកលើមូលដ្ឋានម៉ារីនយើងនៅជ្រោយចង្វារ។
