Around 500 North Yuon-Khmer Viet Congs soldiers came into Phnom Phsak at VT 964-577, in Sa Ang Phnom sub-district, Sa Ang district, Kandal province. Every night, they were divided into small groups and launch an attack on National Armed Forces who were guarding in the above region. On the other hand, they attempted to cut off National Road No.2, between Takhmao and Sa Ang in shortly there after.
ខ្មែរយៀកកុង និងយួនយៀកកុងខាងជើងចំនួនប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ ចូលមកនៅម្ដុំផ្សាកត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៩៦៤-៥៧៧ក្នុងឃុំស្អាងភ្នំ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពេលយប់ពួកវាចែកគ្នាជាក្រុមតូចៗដើរបាញ់ រំខានដល់កងការពារជាតិដែលយាមប្រចាំការនៅទីនោះ។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះ មានបំណងវាយប្រហារផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិពីតាខ្មៅទៅស្អាង ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ ខាងមុខនេះ។
