On August 24, 1972, about 40 North Yuon-Khmer Viet Congs equipped with 14 PMACs, 14 carabines, 8 CKCs and B-40 stayed at VT 403-573 to the east of Chrak Russei village in Krang Ampel sub-district, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ សីហា ១៩៧២ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង និងខ្មែរ យៀកកុងប្រហែល៤០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេចំនួន១៤ដើម កាំភ្លើងការ៉ាប៉ីនចំនួន១៤ដើម សេកាសេចំនួន៨ដើម និងបេ៤០ បាន មកស្នាក់នៅខាងកើតភូមិច្រកឫស្សី ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៤០៣-៥៧៣ ក្នុងឃុំក្រាំងអំពិល ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។
