On November 15, 1972, at night a group of Khmer Viet Cong, under the command of Sao Sophal, were in an attack with National Army in Chroy Dang village. During the fighting Sao Sophal, injured then was brought to their hospital located in Chroy Russei village at WT 124-505, Pra Sat sub-district, Sa Ang district, Kandal province.
កាលពីយប់ថ្ងៃទី១៥-វិចិ្ឆកា-១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងមួយចំនួនក្រោម បញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សៅ សុផល បានវាយប្រហារគ្នាជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិ យើងនៅភូមិជ្រោយដង។ ក្នុងពេលប្រយុទ្ធគ្នានេះឈ្មោះ សៅ សុផល ត្រូវរបួសហើយត្រូវពួកវានាំយកទៅព្យាបាលនៅមន្ទីរពេទ្យរបស់វា នៅភូមិជ្រោយឫស្សី ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១២៤-៥០៥ ក្នុងឃុំ ប្រាសាទ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
