On December 2-3, 1972, approximately 130 Khmer Viet Cong armed forces equipped with various weapons including 2 B40, three 78, 15 AR-15, 39 PM-AC and many other Carabines, came to Phsa Wat Ang at VT 627-636 then came out through a river in Thmei village at VT 643-624, Roleang Ken sub-district, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province. They intensed to attack sugar manufacture and National Army based in Wat Yous Metrei at VT 669-658.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២-៣ ខែធ្នូ-១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ១៣០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ធន់ដូចជាកាំភ្លើងបេ៤០ ២ដើម, អាអ៊ែ១៥ ១៥ដើម, ប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ ៣៩ដើម និងការ៉ាប៊ីន ជាច្រើនដើមចូលមកផ្សារវត្ដអង្គ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦២៧-៦៣៦ រួចចេញមកតាមមាត់ស្ទឹងភូមិថ្មី ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៦៤៣-៦២៤ ក្នុងឃុំ រលាំងកែន ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះមាន បំណងវាយប្រហាររោងចក្រស្ករស និងកងការពារយើងប្រចាំការនៅ វត្ដយស់មេត្រី ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៦៩-៦៥៨ ពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខនេះ។
