A source reported that Khmer Viet Cong soldiers forcibly gathered villagers who were from the age of 16 years old to learn military strategy and ideology in Damrei Romiel mountain, Chhauk district, Kampot province once every 3 months. They banned villagers in all regions which were occupied by enemies from passing a village to other village.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា ខ្មែរយៀកកុងបានបង្ខិតបង្ខំដល់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ ជាពិសេសកេ្មងៗទាំងប្រុសស្រីដែលមានអាយុចាប់ពី១៦ឆ្នាំទៅ ឱ្យទៅរៀនគួរយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រ និងមនោគមវិជ្ជាផេ្សងៗនៅភ្នំដំរីរមៀល ស្រុកឈូក ខេត្ដកំពត រៀងរាល់៣ខែម្ដង។ ប្រភពដដែលបានឱ្យដឹង ទៀតថា ខ្មាំងបានហាមប្រាមអ្នកស្រុកគ្រប់តំបន់ដែលខ្មាំងកាន់កាប់ មិនឱ្យចេញទៅរកស៊ីពីភូមិមួយទៅភូមិមួយទៀតឡើយ។
