On March 13, 1973, around 400 North Yuon-Khmer Viet congs soldiers in black uniforms and blue caps armed with PM-AC guns, CKC rifles and B-40 guns came to stay at VT 804-593 in Tra Peang Chek village, Thmei sub-district and at VT 810-573 in Matt Boeng village, Trea sub-district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. They attempted to destroy the National Army bases in Kampong Kantuot and along National Road No.2.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៣ មីនា ១៩៧៣ យួនយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុង ចំនួនប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ ស្លៀកពាក់ខ្មៅប្រដាប់អាវុធប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ, សេកាសេ និងកាំភើ្លងបេ-៤០ បានធើ្វចលនាចូលមកស្នាក់នៅម្ដុំភូមិ ត្រពាំងចេក វ៉េតេ ៨០៤-៥៩៣ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ថ្មី និងខ្លះទៀតទៅស្នាក់ នៅភូមិបឹង វ៉េតេ ៨១០-៥៧៣ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ទ្រា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពូួកខ្មាំងនេះមានគោលបំណងប្រុងវាយប្រហារកង ការពារជាតិនៅតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២ និងកំពង់កន្ទួត។
