Between March 12-14, 1973, around 30 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers armed with PM-AC guns and two M-79
guns, under the command of Phaok Ven came to stay at VT 497-532 in Cham Nay village, Krang Ampel sub-district, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១២-១៤ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល ៣០នាក់ ស្លៀកពាក់ខ្មៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ភោគ វិន ប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ និង៧៩ ចំនួន២ដើម បានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅភូមិចំណាយ វ៉េតេ ៤៩៧-៥៣២ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ក្រាំងអំពិល ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់សឺ្ព។
