On February 01-4, 1973, about 120 Khmer Viet Cong
soldiers armed with two 60mm mortars, PM-AC guns and AR-15 guns, under the command of At Chuon, deployed at VT 587-813 around Bat Kaun pagoda to VT 624-813 in Sophy village, Peang Lvea sub-district, Peang Lvea district, Kirirum province. They attempted to attack national armed forces at VT 650-762 in Ang Ta Leuk pagoda in shortly there after. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១-៤ កុម្ភៈ ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ១២០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ អាត់ ជួន ប្រដាប់អាវុធកាំភើ្លង ត្បាល់ទំហំ៦០មម ចំនួន២ដើម, កាំភើ្លងប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ និងអាអ៊ា១៥ ជាច្រើនដើម ចូលមករាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅម្ដុំវត្ដបាត់កូន ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ ៥៨៧-៨១៣ រហូតដល់ភូមិសូភី ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦២៤-៨១៣ ក្នុងឃុំ ពាំងល្វា សុកពាំងល្វា ខេត្ដគីរីរម្យ ក្នុងគោលបំណងវាយប្រហារកងទ័ព ជាតិយើងនៅវត្ដអង្គតាឡឹក ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ ៦៥០-៧៦២ ក្នុងពេល ឆាប់ៗនេះ។
