On December 28, 1972, approximately 200 Khmer Viet Cong depoyed in Kdei Sla village at VT 805-463 to VT 811-463. Some other deployed in the North of Trapang Chhouk at VT 823-474, Kandoeng commune, Bati district, Takeo province. They intended to attack National Army based in Samrong Yaong, Bati district, and cut off National Road No.2 very soon.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៨-ធ្នូ-១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ២០០នាក់ រាយគ្នានៅភូមិក្ដីស្លា ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨០៥-៤៦៣ រហូតដល់ ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨១១-៤៦៣ ហើយខ្មាំងមួយចំនួនទៀតបាន រាយគ្នានៅខាងជើងត្រពាំងឈូក ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨២៣-៤៧៤ ក្នុងឃុំកណ្ដឹង ស្រុកបាទី ខេត្ដតាកែវ។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះមានបំណង វាយប្រហាកងទ័ពជាតិយើងនៅសំរោងយោង សាលាស្រុកបាទី និងផ្ដាច់ថ្នល់ជាតិលេខ២ ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខនេះ។
