On December 16, 1972, about 40 Khmer Viet Cong armed with PM-AC bullets, 82mm mortars, 75mm mortars, and 122mm rocket shells, came to stay at VT 648-578 in forest which located to the North of Tuol Khpuos village in Veal commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. Three Khmer Viet Cong named Yuon, Nim and Choek, were the food stuffs collectors lead North Yuon Viet Cong soldiers to attack National Army in every battlefield in Kampong Speu province..
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៦-ធ្នូ-១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល៤០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃចូលមកស្នាក់នៅក្នុងព្រៃខាងជើងភូមិទួលខ្ពស់ ត្រង់ ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៤៨-៥៧៨ ក្នុងឃុំវាល ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ ដើម្បីការពារអាវុធរបស់ពួកវា ដូចជាគ្រាប់កាំភ្លើងប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ, កាំភ្លើងត្បាល់៨២មម, ៧៥មម, គ្រាប់រ៉ុក្កែត១២២មម និងកាំភ្លើង ជាច្រើនដើមទៀត។ គណៈកម្មការខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួន៣នាក់ គឺឈ្មោះ ឃួន, នឹម និង ចឹក ជាអ្នកបញ្ជាប្រជាជនឱ្យប្រមូលស្រូវឱ្យពួកវា ហើយជាអ្នកនាំផ្លូវទ័ពយួនយៀកកុងមកវាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិគ្រប់ សមរភូមិ។
