On November 8, 1972, about 300 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers equipped with all kind of weapons divided into 2 groups to hide in villages as the following: 150 enemies hid at VT 701-817 to the North of Chambak Kaong village, and 150 others hid at VT 718-619 in forest which was to the Northeast of Boeng Kak village, Preah Nipean commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province.
ពីថ្ងៃ៨-វិចិ្ឆកា-១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ធុនមាន គ្នាចំនួនប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ ហើយបំបែកគ្នាជា២ក្រុម នៅតាម ភូមិ១៥០នាក់ បង្កប់ខ្លួននៅខាងជើងភូមិចំបក់កោង ត្រង់ចំណុច វ៉េតេ ៧០១-៨១៧។ ហើយ១៥០ទៀត បង្កប់នៅព្រៃខាងជើង ឈៀងខាងកើតភូមិបឹងកក់ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧១៨-៦១៩ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ ព្រះនិពាន្ធ ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។
