On February 20, 1973 the Khmer Viet Cong soldiers and North Viet Congs held a meeting in which they raised up about the plan to increasingly attack against the national armed forces. About 500 to 1,000 attempted to fire 150, 122mm rocket shells and 82mm mortars shells at Phnom Penh, Stung Meanchey, Teuk La Ak, Tuol Kok and a parts of Phnom Penh outskirt area.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២០ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ក្រោយពេលរដ្ឋាភិបាលធើ្វបុណ្យ ប្រកាសសនិ្ដភាពពួកខ្មែរយៀកកុង និងយួនយៀកកុងបានធើ្វការប្រជុំ ដើម្បីអោយពួកវាបងើ្កនសកម្មភាពវាយប្រហារជាទូទៅមកលើកងទ័ព ជាតិយើងវិញ។ ខ្មាំងចំនួន៥,០០០នាក់ ទៅ១,០០០នាក់ ប៉ុនប៉ងវាយលុកចូលក្រុងភ្នំពេញតាមសឹ្ទងមានជ័យ, ទឹកល្អក់, ទួលគោក និងមួយផ្នែកទៀតវាយជាយក្រុងភ្នំពេញ តែមុនវាយសម្រុកពួកវាត្រូវ បាញ់រ៉ុក្កែត១២២មម ប្រហែល១៥០គ្រាប់ និងបាញ់កាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ ៨២មម ផងដែរ។
