On February 21-22, 1973, approximately 2,500 Khmer Viet Cong under the command of Ta Vorn, Mam Sarin, and Ta Mok, commander of Battalion 105 and Ta Makk, commander of Battalion 111 and 112, just moved from military strategy Training center in Am leang. They were equipped with sophisticated weapons in order to attack Ang Snuol district of Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២១-២២ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រដាប់ អាវុធប្រហែល២,៥០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ តា វន, ម៉ម សារិន និងឈ្មោះ តាម៉ុក មេបញ្ជាការកងវរៈសេនាតូច១០៥ ហើយនឹងឈ្មោះ តាម៉ាក់ មេបញ្ជាការកងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ១១១ និងលេខ១១២ កងទ័ពទាំងអស់នោះទើបតែមកពីហាត់រៀនក្បួនយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រនៅអមលាំង។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះប្រដាប់អាវុធទំនើបៗមានបំណងវាយប្រហារស្រុកអង្គ ស្នួល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
