On November 26, 1972, around 350 Khmer Viet Cong under the command of Mat (Khmer-Islam) in battalion 105 equipped with PM-ac guns, carabine guns, 7 B-40 guns, 10 FM-ac guns, 15 M-79 guns, 2 60mm mortars built shelters at VT 408-840 and VT 406-847 which was 400m to the north of Thmei 2 village in Yea Ang commune, Am lang district, Kampong Speu province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៦-វិចិ្ឆកា-១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ៣៥០នាក់ ជាកងវរៈសេនតូច១០៥ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ម៉ាត់ (ខ្មែរអ៊ីស្លាម) មានកាំភ្លើងប៉េអ៊ឹមអាសេ, ការ៉ាប៊ីន, បេការ៉ង់ ៧ដើម, អែសអ៊ឹមអាសេ ១០ដើម, អ៊ឹម៧៩ ១៥ដើម, ៦០មម ២ដើម ហើយមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅចម្ងាយ៤០០ម៉ែត្រ ប៉ែកខាងជើង ភូមិថ្មីទី២ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៤០៧-៨៤០ និង ៤០៦-៨៤៧ ក្នុងសង្កាត់យ៉ាអង្គ ស្រុកអមលាំង ខេត្ដកំពង់់ស្ពឺ។
