On February 25, 1973, around 300 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers armed with PM-AC guns and B-40 guns moved from Pea Reang district, Prey Veng province to Prek Kmeng sub-district between VT 103-780 and VT 110-780 in Lvea Em district, Kandal province. They ordered villagers who lived in the above region to cook rice for them for 3 days because they attempted to destroy the national armed forces bases in Koh Rah, Thmor Kor ad Lvea Em district office.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល ៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ បានចេញពីស្រុកពារាំង ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង ចូលមកស្នាក់នៅចាប់ពីចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ ១០៣-៧៨០ ទៅ វ៉េតេៈ ១១០-៧៨០ សង្កាត់ព្រែកកេ្មង ស្រុកល្វាឯម ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា ខ្មាំងខាងលើបានដាក់បញ្ជាឱ្យ អ្នកស្រុកក្នុងតំបន់ខាងលើដាំបាយអោយពួកវាស៊ីក្នុងរយៈពេល៣ថ្ងៃ ដើម្បីត្រៀម និងរង់ចាំថ្ងៃវាយប្រហារទៅលើទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិ នៅកោះរះ, ថ្មគរ និងសាលា ស្រុកល្វាឯម។
