On January 01, 1973, around 30 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers under the command of Moeun in Battalion 308 dug trenches between VU 862-993 and VU 876-990 and VU 862-993, VU 876-960 to the end of Ro Luos village in Sra Yauv sub-district, Kampong Svay district,
Kampong Thom province. They attempted to raid villagers in the above region. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១ មករា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល៣០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ មឿន ក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ៣០៨ បានបញ្ជា អោយកងទ័ពវាជីកលេណដ្ឋានពីចុងភូមិរលួស ចាប់ពីចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ ៨៦២-៩៩៣ រហូតដល់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ ៨៧៦-៩៩០, ៨៦២-៩៩៣ និងវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ ៨៧៦-៩៦០ ក្នុងឃុំស្រយ៉ូវ ស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះមានបំណងចាំស្ទាក់បាញ់ប្រហារអ្នក ស្រុកនៅតំបន់នោះ។
