On February 27, 1973, around 50 Khmer Viet Cong soldier, under the command of Ta Roam, in Battalion 118 came spying on National Armed Forces in Preah Poh at VU 758-023. Then they continued to move toward Dam Nak Preng village at VU 742-002 in Tom Nup Thom sub-district, Oudong district, Oudong Mancheay province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៧ កុម្ភៈ ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងដែលស្ថិតនៅ កងវរៈសេនាតូច១១៨ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ តា រោម ប្រហែល ៥០នាក់ បានចូលមកឃ្លាំមើលកងទ័ពជាតិនៅភូមិព្រះពោធិ៍ ត្រង់ វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៧៥៤-០២៦ ភូមិទំពាំងស្លែង វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៧៥៨-០២៣។ ក្រោយមកខ្មាំងខាងលើ បានសកថយមកភូមិដំណាក់ព្រីង ត្រង់វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៧៤២-០០២ ក្នុងឃុំទំនប់ធំ ស្រុកឧដុង្គ ខេត្ដឧដុង្គមានជ័យ វិញ។
