On September10, 1973, Suong Leang Eng who fled from Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province by faking the travel pass turned up at Khmer Embassy at Vietnam on March 17, 1974. In Koh Sotin district, Zone 22, there were two units of Khmer Rouge soldiers, Unit 20 and Unit 2000 which was under the control of Sarin. Khmer Rouge Cheated people by telling them that 90% of the people and country were liberated and the republican abolished Buddhism. Suong Leang Eng fled because Khmer Rouge was under the control of Communist Vietnam, they intended to betray people and religion, and they killed innocent people and monks.
សួង លាងអេង បានភៀសខ្លួនចេញពីស្រុកកំពង់សៀម ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម កាលពីថ្ងៃ១០ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ដោយបានក្លែងលិខិតធ្វើដំណើរ ពីតំបន់ខ្មាំងរហូតមកដល់ស្ថានទូតខ្មែរប្រចាំនៅប្រទេសវៀតណាម នៅ ថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤។ កងឯកភាពរបស់ខ្មែរក្រហម គ.២០ និង ឃ. ២,០០០ មានមេបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សារិន ប្រចាំនៅស្រុក កោះសូទិន តំបន់២២។ ពួកខ្មែរក្រហមបានបោកបពោ្ឆាតប្រជាជនថា យើងរំដោះទឹកដី និងប្រជាជនបាន៩០ភាគរយ ហើយគឺពួកសាធារ- ណរដ្ឋបំបាត់ព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា។ មូលហេតុភៀសខ្លួនពីពួកខ្មែរក្រហម មកពីពួកវាស្ថិតក្រោមបញ្ជាការយួនកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ហើយមានបំណងក្បត់ ជាជនក្បត់សាសនា ធ្វើគត់ព្រះសង្ឃ និងសម្លាប់ប្រជាជនដោយឥត ទោសកំហុស។
