On January 26, 1973, about 100 Khmer Viet Cong under the command of Yung Nai, equipped with three 60mm and ten M-79 guns and 2 waldies stayed in Bos Srang village VT 310-517, Krang Ampel commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province. 50 of enemies were assigned to raid National Army operating near Phnom Sleng at VT 513-537.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ១០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ យង់ ណៃ មានអាវុធត្បាល់ទំហំ ៦០មម ចំនួន៣ដើម, អ៊ឹម-៧៩ ចំនួន១០ដើម, វិទ្យុនិយាយឆើ្លយឆ្លង ២គ្រឿង, វ៉េតេៈ៥១០-៥១៧ ក្នុងក្រាំងអំពិល ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់សឺ្ព។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះបានចាត់គ្នាវាចំនួន៥០នាក់អោយមក បង្កប់ខ្លួនចាំស្គាក់បាញ់កងទ័ពជាតិយើងដែលធើ្វប្រតិបតិ្ដការនៅ ម្ដុំភ្នំស្លែង ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៥១៣-៥៣៧។
