On December 15, 1973, hundreds of Khmer Communist soldiers in battalion 7 and 9 , under the command of Ta Keo, a commander; camrade Koy, a first deputy commander, and a second deputy commander, moved from Prek Ta Ten at VT 082-097 toward to the southeast of Tonle Sap river bank in Mok Kampoul district, Kandal province. 10 of them armed with AK47 rifles were assigned to guard villagers in the above place at VU 933-137, 928-118 and 985-090. They stored rice and dry fishes at VV 920-142 in Thnal Keng; at VV 985-090 in Prek Chrau and at VU 099-613 in Prek Kuy, Roka Kaong district, Phnom Del province. Specially, they spreaded propaganda and persuaded villagers to provide foodstuffs to their Angka in an attempt to be ready for an attack Phnom Penh in shortly there after.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៥-ធ្នូ-១៩៧៣ រហូតដល់សព្វថ្ងៃនេះខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ជាច្រើនរយនាក់ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូច៩ និងលេខ៧ ក្រោម បញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ តាកែវ និងឈ្មោះមិត្ដកុយ ភូឈួយទី១ ហើយនិង ឈ្មោះស៊ីវ ភួឈួយទី២ បានធ្វើចលនាចេញពីព្រែកតាទែន ត្រង់ ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨២-៩៧ ឆ្ពោះមកទនេ្លសាប និងខាងត្បូងឈៀងខាង កើតស្ទឹងមុខកំពូលដោយទុកគ្នាវាខ្លះចាំត្រួតអ្នកស្រុកនានានៅតាម តំបន់នេះ។ ខ្មាំងចំនួន១០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃដូចជាអាកា៤៧ និងសេកាសេនៅក្នុងខេត្ដភ្នំដិល ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩៣៣-១៣៧, ៥នាក់ នៅភូមិទូពិត ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩២៨-១១៨, ៥០នាក់នៅ ភូមិព្រែកជ្រៅ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩៨៥-០៩០ និងរកាកោង។ ខ្លះទៀតនៅថ្នល់កែង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩២០-១៤២ ខ្មាំងបាន ប្រមូលអង្ករ ត្រីជាច្រើនមកស្ដុកទុកនៅព្រែកជ្រៅ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩៨៥-០៩០, ភូមិព្រែកកុយ ត្រង់វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩៩-១៣។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើបានបញ្ចុះបញ្ចូលឃោសនាប្រជាជនឱ្យធ្វើអំណោយ ដល់អង្កការសម្រាប់រៀបចំវាយប្រហារក្រុងភ្នំពេញពេលទឹកសម្រក។
