On March 16, 1973, about 20 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers entered to Prek Dam Bang village at VU 980-046 and Roka Kaong region in order to convince villagers to serve Khmer Liberation Movement. It was told that they disguised themself as businessmen and 3 wheel motor cart drivers in villages, Khsach Kandal district and attempted to attack Rokar Kaong region which was occupied by National Government and Russei Chroy shortly there after.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៦ ខែមិនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ២០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចូលមកភូមិព្រែកដំបង ចំណុច វ៉េអ៊ុយៈ៩៨០-០៤៦ និងជាយតំបន់រដ្ឋបាលរកាកោង ដើម្បី ឃោសនាបញ្ចុះបញ្ចូលអ្នកស្រុកទាំងអស់នោះ អោយទៅចូលរួមក្នុង ចលនារំដោះជាមួយពួកវា។ តាមប្រភពអោយដឹងថា ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះ បានបន្លំខ្លួនធើ្វជាអ្នករកស៊ីលក់ដូរ និងធាក់រឺម៉កនៅក្នុងភូមិនានាក្នុង ស្រុកខ្សាច់ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ហើយពួកវាមានបំណងវាយប្រហារតំបន់រដ្ឋ បាលរកាកោង និងឫស្សីជ្រោយក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។
