A source showed that approximately 350 Khmer Viet Cong armed force moved from Slap Leng at VT 548-390 crossing Beng village VT 574-423, Stok sub-district, Korng Pisey district of Kampong Speu province. Then they set shelters along a path to Svay Char pagoda at VT 678- 413 in an attempt to attack National Army in Kai Rong at VT 678-431.
ប្រភពពត៌មានបានឱ្យដឹងថា ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ ដោយអាវុធបានចេញពីស្លាប់លែង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៥៤៨-៣៩០ កាត់តាមភូមិបេង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៥៧៤-៤២៣ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ស្ដុក ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ ហើយមកតាំងជម្រកនៅតាមផ្លូវលំចុះមក វត្ដស្វាយចារ្យ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦០១-៤១៣។ ពួកខ្មាំងមានគោល បំណង និងវាយប្រហារកងការពារជាតិនៅកៃរោង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៧៨-៤៣១។
