On March 1973, the Khmer Viet Cong soldiers who stayed in Chup, and Mchek near , Tbeng and Khnar village established shelter along the edge of a Channel at center of an area bordered by VT 805-543, 807-531 in Lom Pong sub-district, Bati district, Takeo province.
They stored weapons and logistics at VT 789-542 near the edge of To Toeng Thngai Channel in Lum Pong sub-district, Bati district and nominated 200 soldiers under the command of Pao Huor, to guard these. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៩ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងនៅជប់មេ្ចកជិត ភូមិត្បែង និងភូមិខ្នារ បានសង់ជំរុំមួយនៅក្បែរមាត់អូរក្នុងរង្វង់វ៉េតេៈ ៨០៥-៥៤៣, វ៉េតេៈ៨០៧-៥៣១ ក្នុងឃុំលំពង់ ស្រុកបាទី ខេត្ដតាកែវ។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះបានស្ដុកសម្ភារសឹក និងភស្ដុភារនៅ ក្បែរមាត់អូរទទឹងថ្ងៃត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៧៨៩-៥៤២ ក្នុងឃុំលំពង់ ស្រុកបាទី ដោយចាត់គ្នាវាចំនួន២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃក្រោម បញ្ជាឈ្មោះ ប៉ោ ហួរ មកយាមទីនោះ។
