On April 1, 1973, about 3,000 to 4,000 Khmer Viet cong armed forces moved from Svay Ta Mek villages at WT 090-353, Kampong Kong sub-district, Koh Thom district to dig trenches at WT 124-700, to Trapeang Trach village WT 170-685, Dei Eth sub-district. They set up many mortars and aimed at Dei Eth factory.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនពី៣,០០០ ទៅ៤,០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចេញពីភូមិស្វាយតា មេក ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០៩០-៣៥៣ ក្នុងសង្កាត់កំពង់កុង ស្រុកកោះធំ បានចូលមកជីកលេណដ្ឋានត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ១២៤-៧០០ មកទល់នឹងភូមិត្រពាំងត្រាច ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ១៧០-៦៨៥ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ដីឥដ្ឋ ពួកខ្មាំងបានតាំងសុទ្ធតែកាំភើ្លងត្បាល់ សម្រាប់បាញ់ផ្ដក់មករោងចក្រដីឥដ្ឋ។
