A source reported about 700 Khmer-Yuon Viet Congs stayed at VT 995-418 and VT 989-430, Prek Ampel sub-district, Sa Ang district, Kandal province. The source added that on April 9, 1973, the enemies collected 1000 more troops from Sa Ang district to VT 935-616, 953-628, 976-612 and 984-605, Takhmao sub-district and Rokar Khpuos sub-district, Sa Ang district, and Kandal Stung district of Kandal.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា មានយួន និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល៧០០នាក់ បានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅចំណចវ៉េតេៈ៩៩៥-៤១៨ និងវ៉េតេៈ៩៨៩-៤៣០ សង្កាត់ព្រែកអំបិល ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមថានៅថ្ងៃទី៩ មេសា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មាំងខាងលើបាន ប្រមូលទ័ពបន្ថែមមានចំនួនប្រហែល១,០០០នាក់ បានចេញពីស្រុកស្អាង ឆ្ពោះចូលទៅស្នាក់នៅក្នុងរង្វង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ ៩៣៥-៦១៦, ៩៥៣-៦២៨, ៩៧៦-៦១២ និង ៩៨៤-៦០៥ សង្កាត់តាខ្មៅ និងសង្កាត់រការខ្ពស់ ស្រុកស្អាង និងស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
