On March 24, 1973, about 800 Khmer-Yuon Viet Cong soldiers under the command of Ta Thom and Pen, established shelters at UU 243-932, in Boeng Ambel village and at UU 240-944, in Veal village, Prey Tralach sub-district, Mong district, Battambang province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានយួន និងខ្មែរយៀកកុង ប្រហែល៨០០នាក់ សិ្ថតនៅក្នុងកងលេខ១១៣ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ តា ធំ និង រ៉ែន បានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិបឹងអំបិល ត្រង់ចំណុច អ៊ុយអ៊ុយៈ២៤៣-៩៣២ និងភូមិវាល អ៊ុយអ៊ុយៈ២៤០-៩៤៤ សង្កាត់ព្រៃត្រឡាច ស្រុកមោង ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។
