In 1971, Sok Yan, served in the Khmer Liberation movement in Unit 23 consisting of one ammunition store house at WT 583-876 in the North of Chrey Krang Khnol village. On December 18 1973, at 6:00AM, he came to join the society with National Army in Wat Phum Thmei pagoda, bringing along one M-79 gun and 5 bullets.
ឈ្មោះ សុក យ៉ាន បំម្រើចលនាខ្មែររំដោះ១៩៧១ ក្នុងកងវរៈលេខ២៣ មានកន្លែងផ្ទុកគ្រាប់ធំនៅខាងជើងកាំងខ្នុរ ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉តេ ៥៨៣-៨៧៦ បានចុះចូលសារភាព និងកងទ័ពជាតិថ្ងៃទី១៨ ខែធ្នូឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ម៉េាង០៦ៈ០០ព្រឹក នៅវត្ដភូមិថ្មី បាននាំមកជាមួយនូវអាវុធអ៊ឹម៧៩ មួយដើម និងគ្រាប់៥គ្រាប់។
