On 05 July 1974, the Khmer Communist Leng Bun Lonn, a deputy chief of the ammunition dividing unit who just escaped from the Khmer Communist military office in Special Zone 311, Region 15, defected to the National Army in Battalion 138, Thnal Totoeng sub-military region, bringing along one carabine M-2 gun.
