On April 7, 1974, a Khmer Communist, Chea Karatt, deputy chief of Platoon 2, Regiment 2, Infantry Battalion 132, based in District 16 of Region 25, defected
to national military authorities in Brigade 24 based in Prek Yuon at WT:294-634. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៧ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ឈ្មោះ ជា ភារ៉ាត់ ជាមេបញ្ជា ការកងអនុសេនាតូចទី២ ក្នុងកងអនុសេនាធំទី២ កងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ ១៣២ ទព័ថើ្មរជើងស្រុកលេខ១៦ តំបន់២៥ របស់កុម្មុយនិស្ដ បានរត់ចុះចូលជាមួយអាជ្ញារធរយើងនៅព្រែកយួន ត្រង់ចំណុច ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ ២១៤-៦៣៤ ជាមួយកងពលតូចលេខ២៤។
