On Feburay 26, 1974, about 450 Khmer Communist equipped with guns especially 2 non rejected heavy 75 mm guns, and two 86mm mortars, under the command of Khoeb Khun set up shelters at VT 959-668, in an attempt to attack Takhmau town.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដចំនួនប្រហែល ៤៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ពិសេសមានកាំភ្លើងកាណុង ៧៥មម ឥតធាក់ថយចំនួនពីរដើម កាំភ្លើងត្បាល់តំហំ៨៦មម ចំនួន២ ដើមទៀត ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ ឃឹប ឃុន បំណងតាំងជម្រកក្នុងរង្វង់ ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៩៥៩-៦៦៨ ប្រុងវាយប្រហារក្រុងតាខ្មៅ។
