On May 9, 1974, at 12:00PM, a 22 year olds, Khmer Communist, Tem Phal, defected to infantry brigade 45 of division 7 based in Phnom Baset at VT 720-890. He also brought along a M16 No.1162935, 4 magazines and 60 bullets.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ៩-ឧសភា-១៩៧៤ ម៉េាង១២ៈ០០ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ តែម ផល អាយុ២២ឆ្នាំ បានចុះចូល និងកងពលថ្មើជើង ទី៤៥ នៃកងពលធំថ្មើជើងទី៧ នៅភ្នំបាសិត ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧២០-៨៩០ ដោយនាំមកនូវកាំភ្លើងអ៊ឹម១៦ ១ដើម លេខ១១៦២៩៣៥ ឡតដាក់គ្រាប់៤ មាន៦០គ្រាប់។
