Ean Chhan alias comrade Rith, 20 years old, who lived in Trean sub-district, Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province defected to military authority in Battalion 164 of Infantry Brigade 38 based in Chuon Nat high school at WU 441-300 on May 1, 1974. He also brought along with one M-16 gun its No. 957184.
